Got a great birthday present today… my first copy of THE CHASE arrived in the mail.
But the big birthday surprise was the fine print on the cover.
I crapped myself when I saw that. I’ve dreamed my whole life of seeing that fine print by my name on the cover of a book. The timing couldn’t have been better. Thank you, Janet, for making it possible!

Your smile is so big it’s passed on to me! Congratulations. Brilliant! 🙂
Thank you, Robin. Got to show off my teeth while I still have them.
I’ve been waiting for this one and cannot wait to read it, and to interview you on March 3rd on my radio show!

Looking forward to it, Pam.
Excellent, can’t wait to read it!
I hope you like it, Terry.
Wow, isn’t that great! Happy Birthday, Lee–and you are a New York Time’s Best-Selling Author into the bargain!
I think you deserve to take a bow!
I would, but I’m afraid I’ll topple over. My head has gotten so big in the last 24 hours, that’s a real danger 🙂
You deserve it, Lee.
Thank you, Buzz!
The thrill never goes away. The next hardcover and the next will evoke the same deep joy and exultation. There is, for me at least, a deeper delight in seeing a finely wrought hardcover novel with my name on the cover in marquee lights, so to speak, than any other format. You’ll always remember this birthday, and I wish you many more just as memorable.
