I just got back from two months in Toronto working as a writer/executive producer on the set of YOU’RE KILLING ME, the hit AMC/Acorn mystery series starring Brooke Shields, Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh. I returned just in time for the Oct 20th release of the 7th Eve Ronin novel, SPLIT SCREEN. The first thing I did was shoot this little video…
The next thing I did was finish the copyedit on THE INVISIBLE ARCHITECT, the second “Edison Bixby” novel, which will be out in March and features a guest appearance from… Eve Ronin! The third thing I did was get back to work on EVE RONIN #8, which will be out this time next year. As you can see, I like to keep busy.
If you’d like a signed copy of SPLIT SCREEN, reach out to Mystery Ink Bookstore to order your book before November 14, which is when I will be doing an event at the Calabasas Library… where I will be interrogated by Emmy Award winning writer/producer and NY Times bestselling author Phoef Sutton (who is also my writing/producing partner on YOU’RE KILLING ME).
I will also be signing at the Orange County Book Fair on November 17… in conjunction with Mystery Ink. So if you want signed books, this is your only chance (unless you are attending Left Coast Crime in Santa Fe in April 2027). You can reach Mystery Ink at mysteryink@hotmail.com or 714-743-6127 to order your copy.
Speaking of YOU’RE KILLING ME, if you missed the blockbuster first season, the highest-rated series in viewers and new subscribers in Acorn’s history, you can now order the complete first season DVD from Amazon…and catch up before season two airs in early 2027.
While I was up in Toronto, I visited my old buddy Linwood Barclay, international bestselling author, and finally got to see his incredible, world-class model train set-up. I also tried to steal his amazing “Flying Sub” model from VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA… but he caught me.
