I loved this book so much! Mixing the disparate genres was done exceptionally well, and as always, the characters were fully drawn. Bravo!

It had an almost identical cover. The paperback cover has been tweaked, adding two more blurbs (for a total of four) and a subtitle. I am red-green colorblind, but i am told the color was also slightly adjusted.

I grew up in Barstow in the 60’s and 70’s and was excited to read about my “home” and the ghost town us Barstow kids spent many fun hours at. Many of my friends worked there during high school. I wasn’t sure when I started the book if I’d like it since I was hoping to just reminisce but I was in for a great surprise! It didn’t take long for me to get very interested and anxious to find out how this amazing story could possibly end. GREAT JOB!
