Can’t remember this at all. However I do remember the original series with Roger Moore, still being shown on daytime telly. Also remember the remake in the late ‘seventies with Ian Ogilvy which was very good. He was tipped to follow Roger Moore as Bond but it didn’t happen.
IMDB lists six TV movies but I only ever caught one of them here in the UK, screened in the wee small hours as the network burned them off. Although trading on the title, the show portrayed Templar as a routine action hero and missed the combination of charm, criminality and bedrock decency that define the character. Matt Bomer in WHITE COLLAR gets much closer to it.
