  1. Thanks for the tip of the hat to Canadian content, Lee. Toronto doesn’t have yellow police cars, just the standard white and black. The two tall buildings in the opening credits section used to be the only two tall buildings, back in 1974. Now, the skyline is really very impressive. Shatner is something, eh? What a great acting talent. The director, Alan King, is also quite talented, which is why the tension in the segment keeps building up the drama.
    However, there’s no doubt that Canandians love American TV and entertainment, and we watch it up here in droves. And Canada has the same population as California, so it’s a feather in the cap of the American entertainment industry.
