Tomorrow I’m having surgery to cut away the scar tissue and remove the titanium implants in my right arm. I’ll be out of action for a few days. During my absense, my writing partner William Rabkin and my brother novelist Tod Goldberg will be posting about their writing lives, their rants, and their whinings.

Good luck, Lee. Don’t sweat it. It’ll be over before you know it.

Just remember Rodney Dangerfield’s last public statement:
If all goes well, I’ll be there for a week. If it doesn’t, I’ll be there an hour and a half.
Oh, wait. That’s not really encouraging, is it?
Um… Eat lots of ice cream?
Good luck.
Thank you for all your good wishes… I am dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time. I’m dreading the pain, the discomfort, the drugs and the months of physical therapy… but it will be nice to be able to use my right arm again… assuming the operation is successful.
Lee,
Tina and I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. If you need anything you just call.

Hey, good luck Lee.
I’m sure the blog will be in good hands, but I’m looking forward to your return. Take care. And tell the doctors to take care.
Praying everything goes well.
Best wishes for a quick recovery, Lee. Will be thinking of you during your recovery!
Cheers,
Mary
