Excerpts of my video interview with Dick Van Dyke, conducted five years ago for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences‘ Archive of American Television, are now up on Google. Here’s a clip in which he talks about why he got involved with "Diagnosis Murder."
Thanks for the heads up. These interviews are marvelous. I find it highly annoying, however, that the interviewers were not provided with microphones.
Great interview! It is a sad point Mr. Van Dyke makes (and five years ago, no less) that TV is so desperate for young demos that it ignores great talents of, well, grown-ups.
Unfortunately the videos shown through Google are not available in Germany. We can see that there are videos, but we can’t watch them 🙁
Growing up watching Mr. Van Dyke I mostly admired him for his public safety committment. I would like to start a local awareness forum directed at public safety. Can you direct to web sites/orginizations that can possibly mentor me on this endeavor?
