  1. You do realize that the Republican base that is claiming to think she’s wonderful won’t have a problem with this, right? And in fact, the ultraconservatives will think it rocks.
    In terms of her Christian fervor, I think it was pretty toned down compared to what it could have been. The thing that makes me tense during this is how incoherent she seems to me, rambling from one thing to the next and back again. Apparently the theme is “Great things are happening to Alaska, Praise Jesus!”

  3. Absolutely terriffying. And yet a shocking number of people seem to be completely taken with her. I’m amazed that more people don’t find her selection to be absurd.
