Have a safe trip, Lee.
Ditto, and best wishes to your grandmother.
Best wishes for your grandmother Lee. Mine passed when I was thousands of miles from home.
Best wishes for you and your grandmother. I hope things go well.
I’m in Seattle. If you’re going to be kicking around town, I’d be happy to buy you a beer. I’m sans car or I’d offer to tour guide, too.
If you have time, of course.
Thanks for the offer, Harry. But I am jetting back to L.A. first thing tomorrow morning. I just came up for two days to see my ill grandmother (who is in her 90s). The weather here has been spectacular and book-store browsing has been fun…I even found a signed, first edition copy of THE HISTORIAN that I bought for regular cover price. Actually, I bought so many books during my two days here I had to ship them back UPS.
Understood.
I was tempted to geek out and ask you which bookstores you went to and what you thought about them, but I took my hands off the keys and counted to ten. There are a lot of good bookstores in town and I’m a bit of a nerd about them.
Have a safe trip, and I hope your grandmother is comfortable.
