  1. I won’t blame this on you, my friend, but on Variety — two of the shows you list as cancelled, Fathom and Surface, are actually one show that was once called Fathom, but only aired under the title Surface.

  2. I thought conviction had promise, although it was very cheesy… Couldn’t agree more with Chris Galdieri about the idea of Belzer moving over to fill Orbach’s shoes, Farina is certainly not doing the job.

  3. E-Ring got a big promotional push at the start of last season. Perhaps the following will jog your memory: it was essentially The West Wing set in The Pentagon from uber-producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and starred Benjamin Bratt and Dennis Hopper.
Teachers was from Matt Tarses (Scrubs) and starred the ravishing Sarah Shahi. Incidentally, does anyone know how she managed to get both Teachers and Damages in addition to her duties on The L Word? I’ve heard of having a project in second position, but is it common to have one in third position, as well?
And speaking of changes at L&O, did anyone else notice that NBC is moving L&O:CI into the same timeslot where both L&O:TbJ and Conviction withered away?

  4. Conviction could have possibly been the best new show on tv. The season finale was also amazing. I am completely depressed that this great show was cancelled.

  6. after 2 years almost 3 still upset over surface being cancelled – does nbc hold coyrights to series created by the pate brothers – if not could they write a book to give the millions of surface fans an ending – at least cbs acknowledged the fans of jericho and gave them an ending
