One of my guilty pleasures are Sammy Davis Jr’s craptastic TV themes song covers… some of which he must have commissioned just to sell records (who knew there were vocals to KOJAK!?). Here they are:
2. THE JEFFERSONS
3. THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW
4. CHICO AND THE MAN
5. MARY HARTMAN, MARY HARTMAN
6. HAWAII FIVE-O
8. MY MOTHER THE CAR

Thanks for sharing these, give me a chance to smile or groan.
Don Ho actually also did a slow version of FIVE-O (a love song).
I am also a TV Theme buff and love hearing these!
You know there are lyrics to the LUCY SHOW and BONANZA?
There are lyrics to STAR TREK, but this is not the original:
The Don Ho version of HAWAII FIVE-O has entirely different lyrics than the Sammy Davis Jr. version. And there’s also a second version of the BONANZA song with different lyrics… this one sung by Johnny Cash.
Here’s one for you, Lee:
The ORIGINAL Gilligan’s Island theme. ENTIRELY different!
This one actually WORKS:
I kinda like the BEWITCHED lyrics!
I have a 45 of the Bonanza theme song sung in German. Who knew?
Says these are the WORST TV themes ever. I don’t totally agree but there are some REAL stinkers there!
These are AMAZING! His rendition of the theme from Maude is #1 for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6xntQJmesc RIP Bea Arthur.
