This was a good Stirling Silliphant show that should have had a longer life than one year, a blind investigator looking into his wife’s murder, set in New Orleans. His address at 835 Chartres (pronounced “Charters”) is only about 4 blocks down in the French Quarter from K-Paul’s Lousiana Kitchen (spectacularly good food from Chef Paul Prudhomme.) If I had the power, I’d set shoot a series in New Orleans, which is visually unique in this country, very old world.

I remember watching Longstreet. I thought it was quite good. I didn’t know it only lasted a year. It’s puzzling when good tv shows don’t last long.
I wonder how many people remember Bruce Lee as Longstreet’s teacher after his blindness.
