Boy, Lee, love it when you dig up some of these goldie oldies. Loved this show as well… and nothing like that funky computer font to symbolize the future, eh?
This show fascinated me as a kid — even though I never saw the show itself, only the long-form commercial for it. In the Apollo-obsessed early ’70’s, the idea of a secret agent with a whole mission control backing him up was extremely cool. I finally saw the pilot film on late-night TV in the early ’90’s. It was fun, especially with the smart-ass comments from the controllers.
This is defintely a show that I would like to reboot. I loved the aspect of a control room (idea stolen from the TIME TUNNEL?) and that it had three leads who had different adventures, habits, etc…
What a blast from the past. I remember seeing this when I was a kid. Would be fun to see it again to see how it held up.
