I have just discovered your blog via Writer’s Plot and what a delight. I was watching your TV main title of the week (2/11/08) and boy, what a surprise! I am a youngster, I know it (late 30’s) but I had no idea that Judd Hirsch was the star of Delvechio! Wow! I had heard about the show and watched the remake from a few years ago with Danny Aielllo but didn’t know Mr. Hirsch had been in the original.
I’m currently watching Mr. Hirsch in his role of Alan Eppes in Numb3rs and I enjoy that show greatly. I remember him from Taxi but nothing else on tv. Thanks for sharing.

You are thinking of DELLAVENTURA, which was on CBS but, otherwise, was totally unrelated to DELVECCHIO.
