Two quick points on this one:(1)The theme and staging of this sequence are the distnctive work of Vic Mizzy of ADDAMS FAMILY — GREEN ACRES fame. Well… after 2 grand slams I guess you get a strikeout. (2)That butler we glimpse at the end is Grady Sutton, W. C. Fields’s favorite foil. Sutton was pretty nearly 70 at this time, not working much, and I guess he was grateful for the gig… but for unknown reasons he disappeared from the show around midseason, during a flurry of format changes.
Even by the standards of 60’s television, this one looks pretty bad.
